David Sheril

As General Counsel, David serves as the company's chief legal advisor to the executive and business teams, helping the business make informed, practical decisions that support growth while appropriately managing risk.  David works closely with teams across the organization to structure transactions, support negotiations, improve processes, resolve complex business issues, and provide practical legal and business guidance. David brings extensive legal experience in the real estate industry, most recently serving as General Counsel for a privately held real estate investment, management, development, and lending firm. In that role he advised ownership, executive leadership, and business teams on a broad range of legal, transactional, operational, and strategic matters supporting the company's real estate portfolio and business operations. Prior to that, David litigated complex commercial cases in federal and state courts across the country at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett and at Hahn & Hessen. David graduated from St. John's University School of Law with a Juris Doctor.
