Karen Katsoff

Karen Katsoff joined AmTrust RE as Chief Accounting Officer in September 2019.  Karen is responsible for overseeing accounting and financial operations with a focus on accuracy, transparency, compliance, and reporting integrity.  She leads teams, develops policies, strengthens internal controls and delivers financial insight that supports informed decision making. Karen has deep experience across accrual, GAAP and IFRS reporting, audits, capital market readiness, and regulatory compliance. Karen is also responsible for financing and corresponds directly with lenders and shareholders. Prior to joining AmTrustRE, Karen worked as Chief Financial Officer of Star Real Estate Ventures where she oversaw financial reporting, refinancings and supported acquisitions. Karen was also a Regional Finance Director at Tishman Speyer, where she led finance operations for the New York portfolio. Karen is a Certified Public Accountant and has an Masters in Business Administration from New York University.
